This is sufficient as an exit in the event of fire." The flats are small, ranging in size from 34-36 m2 for the smallest apartments to 48 m2 for the corner apartments. There are 6 different types and all are accessed via a hallway that protects direct views of the interior. They do not have a defined space for the bedroom and the kitchens are minimal, between 1 m2, a cupboard closed by two doors (type 2) and 2.5 m2 (type 5). The façades are resolved employing a balcony for each dwelling with a carpentry that occupies the entire length. The rest of the elevation is blind, except for small openings for toilets or kitchens and some larger windows for the rooms located in the corners. LINEAR BLOCKS The building designed by Müller (1) consists of 22 dwellings arranged over 4 floors grouped in 3 stairwells, with 1 or 2 floors per landing, and is probably one of the most interesting volumetrically. It is not limited to repeating some types superimposed vertically, but the 5 proposed models configure a certain typological variety. There are studio, 1D, 2D and 2 3D variants. The block faces north and south, and the stairwells are slightly staggered, the one on the east façade has a terrace through which the morning sunlight penetrates. The 1D and 2D types are configured around the outdoor spaces using double circulations through the wet areas. However, the dwelling with the most alternative routes is the 3D type. A work area is located in the central part and is connected to the living room and a large bedroom/study of more than 20 m2 which in turn communicates with the room on the north façade. This building, together with the Aalto building (22), is the one with the greatest spatial and route richness. To the north is that of Gottwald (2) made up of 3 vertical cores with 2 dwellings in the centre and 3 at the ends. In this case, the layout of the staircase of a flight of stairs running longitudinally to the block allows for a studio with a 7 m façade to be located in the central part. The 4 floors of the block have a total of 32 units. The ground floor level is raised by one metre to allow ventilation of the semi-basement where the facilities and other services are located. The north façade is flat, with the stairwells visible. The east and west walls are blind and the south elevation is configured employing a continuous terrace with a lattice formed by two pieces of prefabricated concrete that alternate at the ends of the porch and generate a certain movement in the façade, as they are arranged in a staggered pattern. To the north of the previous building is that of Luckhardt and Hoffmann (3), consisting of 22 flats arranged in 3 staircases, 2 per landing and 4 storeys high, Figura 4.
