AIM, SCOPE AND EDITORIAL POLICY Architectural Research Tribune is an independent collection of architecture research books whose objective is to provide an alternative publication platform for those re- search tasks that, due to format or content, have more difficult access to the common publication systems. Another objective of the collection is to combine the research processes with its impact on the built architecture; all this within the double scope of contemporary production and the recovery of architectures and key research of the recent past. The collection has a scientific committee and an independent editorial committee that will ensure the quality and interest of the proposed content. Each book will have one or more main coordinators who will be in charge of proposing the participants and contents of that volume. I would like to thank my dear friend of many years, Joao Luis Carrilho da Graça, a magnificent Portuguese architect, who has been kind enough to write a few words about this compendium, although I know he would be much more comfortable carrying out an architectural project for me that I know would be beautiful. For this reason, this effort is of extraordinary value to me. I would also like to thank another very dear friend and coursemate, Pedro Azara, a magnificent professor of aesthetics at the ETSAB, who, after asking for his opinion, has been generous enough to find a space in his busy schedule to write a few words about this compendium of interventions. I am also grateful José Miguel Rubio for allowing me to publish for the third time with TC publishers, treating me from time to time to long and fruitful conversations that have allowed me to synthesize my extensive academic career. Finally, I would like to acknowledge the work of Clara Mejía and Ricardo Meri, directors of this collection of research books, who have made the effort to review these texts in such a rigorous way that without them this publication would not have been possible. Many thanks to all the then doctoral students and to the editors of this volume. Félix Solaguren-Beascoa
